Hi, I’m Madeleine.
I’m a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder and have stepped into the adult world. Asking questions and finding out their answers has been my passion since I learned how to speak. This desire to know more drives my career choices as I work to better my communities.
Writing has given me the opportunity to continue to investigate life and learn from the people around me. My aim when pursuing a story is to hold those with power accountable. I’m transparent with my readers about my biases and want them to seek different points of view.
Photojournalism has allowed me to explore the world though a new lens (literally) and given me time to appreciate the seemingly ordinary. I aim to capture the unique moments in my life and share them with the rest of the world, like service dogs-in-training visiting a museum or my college campus during a global pandemic.
Through these practices, I want to bring more curiosity to the world. As long as there are questions to be asked, I’ll be around digging for their answers.
